EkolIfe Cooperative investors together with Atikha, Inc. representatives

Ekolife OFW Marketing Cooperative Chapter in Iloilo formally introduced itself to prospect OFW investors on May 24, 2017 at the Casa Real, Iloilo City.

The setting up of the cooperative is part of the “Coming Home: Reintegration Program for OFWs from the Philippines” being implemented by Atikha in Iloilo in partnership with the PESO and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration – National Reintegration Center for OFWs (OWWA_NRCO).

The cooperative aims to provide a market for the OFWs and families who are involved in production, and will also provide opportunities for those interested in marketing products to be direct sellers of the products of OFWs.

Ekolife OFW Cooperative will put up a coffee shop, bakeshop, bistro and pasalubong shop in Iloilo City. It is also involved in mobilizing migrant resources towards nursery production for cacao in its center in Pototan, Iloilo.
